Swiss wine is a bit of an enigma. While Switzerland proudly shares its cheese, chocolate and clocks with the rest of us, it stays rather tight-lipped about its wine. I personally never cared about Swiss wine until recently; I’ve always assumed it was overpriced and mediocre, reserved for the kinds of people with offshore accounts and Rolex watches. But when I started asking around about it in London recently, I felt like I was tapping into a well-kept secret.
